This restaurant was hands down the best we visited while in Destin. We went here our first night to celebrate my Mother-in-Law's birthday and no one was disappointed. It certainly is on the pricier side (which we knew going into it) but the perfect place for an upscale, delicious meal with a beautiful view. We were seated inside (first available) but could still see the water and sunset from the windows. The service was top notch and the food was amazing. Everyone raved about the hush puppies! They were airy inside, had a tinge of sweet and were just so good. The twice baked potatoes are totally worth the splurge and all 8 of us were savoring each bite of our meals. The server split our checks with no problem, was very knowledgeable about the menu and overall super friendly. They even brought out a complimentary slice of key lime pie for my MIL.

I recommend calling ahead. While they don't take reservations, if the wait is 30 minutes or longer, you can call ahead and be added to the list. We didn't even attempt parking because it looked minimal but they do have valet which is nice. Attire is casual even though the restaurant is a bit upscale. There are several reviews about the cocktails here. We stuck to beer/wine and 2-ingredient mixed drinks and all was just fine.

This restaurant will be one we visit each time we are in Destin. Totally recommend this place for anyone.

The one star dock is for crappy parking and the weak mango daiquiri--emphasis on it tasting like there wasn't a drop of liquor, and I'm a light weight!
Otherwise the service was absolutely excellent and the food was superb.
Typically I wouldn't go to such a fancy place but it was for my birthday, so why not?!

Louisiana Lagniappe is always one of our must go to restaurants in Destin.
They don't take reservations but the restaurant is big, with a lot of outdoor seating, so wait times are never too long. There's a big bar right inside the entrance and they're happy to take care of you if you have to wait.
It's a white tablecloth restaurant but you can pretty much come as you are. The atmosphere is relatively quiet with great views of a harbor. Service is always attentive.
I can't eat here without starting with a cup of seafood gumbo. It's made with a nice dark roux and is full of crab, shrimp and oysters.
For entrees my wife had the Grouper Meuniere and I had the Blackened Redfish. Both entrees come with a dinner salad, excellent hush puppies and a twice baked potato. The grouper was pan sauteed and was topped with pecans and meuniere sauce. Very nice and not overly rich. The redfish was blackened and then topped with fresh crabmeat and lobster, and was finished with both meuniere and hollandaise sauces. Delicious!
    Louisiana Lagniappe never disappoints!

Delicious! I had the grouper louisanne, it was nice how the meal was served in courses. The hush puppies were served first right  when we sat down, then salads, then entrees with corn mixture and twice baked potatoes. Our waiter was prompt and the bus boy was constantly refilling our water. It was overall a great meal and ambiance.

Excellent food, view and service. This place has a casual dress code but don't be fooled by that. The food is high class dining. My husband got the redfish with lobster chunks and I ordered the grouper with lump crab meat and shrimp. Fabulous flavors. All entrees come with a salad and hush puppies. The hush puppies were a bit dry and not amazing. If this is the only draw back then we will come again.
